2021 Minnesota Bikeable Community Workshop Application
By submitting this form you are expressing interest as a host who will help coordinate with the workshop planning team.

Minnesota’s Bikeable Community Workshop program has been refined and effectively used since 2012. As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live, work, and play. This includes how we support communities and offer our Bikeable Community Workshops. Our team is excited to adapt the program while following Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. While we cannot predict pandemic status for 2021, we are planning to pilot remote workshops with community stakeholders using a variety of tools. We will work with each community interested in holding a workshop to plan discussions and action planning that best fit community needs. In future years, we look forward to returning to in person workshops.

Hosts are key in identifying and inviting the right stakeholders to the workshop, and may be identified as a follow-up contact. Communities are eligible to apply if they have not received a Bicycle Friendly Community designation. If you have questions about eligibility or other aspects of the application or program, please contact the Bikeable Community Workshop Coordinator, Karl Hedlund: karl@bikemn.org.

NOTE: Completion of this form does not guarantee your community will be selected to host a workshop. BikeMN, MDH, and MnDOT reserve the right to select communities based on identified needs, engagement, and geographic distribution.
