are a group of middle and high school students (13+ years old) who work toward raising mental health awareness, ending stigma, educating peers about suicide prevention, and advocating for the mental health and wellness of students. They serve as ambassadors for the Mind Out Loud movement, including the 2025 spring student event hosted in partnership with Wellness Together School Mental Health, Pinterest, MHSAOC, and the California Department of Education. Mind Out Loud Student Reps come together to create a safe, inclusive environment allowing students to boldly discuss mental health and inspire others to live authentic lives.
Mind Out Loud
Student Reps will be expected to:
- serve as a Mind Out Loud Student Rep through May 31, 2025
- dedicate approximately 5 hours/week to the program, including weekly meetings
- attend Mind Out Loud monthly workshops and the annual event
- serve on a Student Rep committees and complete any relevant committee duties
- promote Mind Out Loud on own school campus and social media
- complete multiple advocacy trainings through the program year
Mind Out Loud
Student Supporters join together to:
- serve as a Mind Out Loud Student Supporter through May 31, 2025
- participate in occasional meetings, alongside the MOL Student Reps
- attend Mind Out Loud monthly workshops and annual event
- serve on a Student Supporter committee and complete any relevant committee duties
- promote Mind Out Loud on own school campus and social media
