The Buildings Upgrade E3 Team is pleased to offer our program, “Out With The Old, In With The New,” to residents in participating communities. This program is part of the Buildings Upgrade Initiative funded by the Department of Energy Building Technologies Office. The program offers qualified participants the opportunity to upgrade to highly efficient heat pump water heaters at no cost to them. By participating, your household will use much less energy to heat water, and you’ll contribute to a more environmentally conscious and resilient community.  

*To qualify, you must:
Have a malfunctioning or aging water heater (at least 10 years old), meet physical space requirements for new water heater, be willing to share your utility bills and apply for eligible rebates, and engage in brief, non-invasive feedback surveys & discussions
