Events can take virtually any form—you can host a festival, a public forum, a film screening, a discussion panel, a service project, or any number of activities that connect newcomers with their receiving communities.
By filling out this form with as much detail as you would like to provide, the University YMCA New American Welcome Center will provide your group Welcoming Week event resources both branded by Welcoming America and for the Welcoming Champaign County collaborative, including promotional materials and technical support.
Created by YMCA of the USA’s national partner Welcoming America, Welcoming Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of immigrants to our communities and foster deeper connections between newcomers and their U.S.-born neighbors.
