How effective are our law schools in ensuring that the law students 'learn'? Are the ' pedagogic methods' being used to teach students producing 'engagement in learning' and can there be ways to enhance that? Knowing this could lead to a massive improvement in the quality of lawyers being produced in India.
ABOUT THE RESEARCHER:
This research is being conducted by Tanuj Kalia, a 2nd year student of the MA in Law, Politics, and Society at AUD, Delhi. Tanuj is also the founder of Lawctopus.com, a leading website for law students.
DEFINITION OF ENGAGEMENT:
For the purposes of this research, 'engagement in learning' includes academic investment, motivation, and commitment that you show for a subject. 'Engagement' does not only mean 'fun' (though it can be fun) but can also be challenging and difficult in a way that builds interest, and furthers learning.
