The IPLAC Law School Outreach Committee is excited to provide an opportunity for JD students to be mentored by and network with IP attorneys on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, 13th floor, at 25 E. Pearson St. Chicago, IL, 60611. This event is provided in collaboration with IPLAC Diamond Sponsor Marshall Gerstein.
The event will include:
(1) a "speed mentoring" portion where small groups of JD students will rotate through ten tables of attorneys from 6-7pm.
(2) a general networking reception for students and attorneys from 7-8 pm (or some subset of that time).
Please RSVP by January 11, at 5 pm. Please note that the speed mentoring portion may fill up before then. If so, interested students will be placed on a wait list by time of registration. Students who are waitlisted will be contacted by email and will also be informed by email if a space opens up.
The committee warmly welcomes all IPLAC attorneys to attend the general reception as well as volunteers for the speed mentoring portion, especially from attorneys who have never previously served in this role. The Law School Outreach committee will confirm attorney speed mentors to ensure a balance of attorney backgrounds for students.
