Here's the run-down: once a week from the Elson Student Health parking lot at 4 PM, you'll come take a five minute rive over to the Southwood Community Center with your fellow mentors, where you'll spend a delightful hour and a half with your engaging mentee. Be prepared to engage in activities ranging from tutoring in math, science, reading, and English as a second language (ESL), to artistic activities and playing fun games outdoors. However, your main role is to serve as a role model, tutor, and friend!
After completing this application, stay tuned for additional information on an info session and meeting with the LSA Community Community Outreach Co-chairs, Simone Mendes (email@example.com), and Elizabeth Bickley (firstname.lastname@example.org). Get pumped for an awesome semester of bonding and engagement. We can't wait to meet you :)
