Secondary School Employability Curriculum Award Framework
Do you have problems recruiting young people with the right soft skills? Would you like to be involved in shaping and developing an Employability curriculum for children from years 7 (age 11) to 13 (age 18)? We are developing, with business, a brand new Employability Curriculum to ensure that our young people are fully ready for the world of work. This curriculum will sit at the centre of a new enterprise secondary school for Bristol for 2018, http://cathedralenterpriseschool.org/ in addition to the Bristol Cathedral Choir School. This curriculum will also be shared with other schools.

The purpose of this survey is to develop a better understanding of the concerns and requirements of school leavers' soft/employability skills. The employability skills listed are derived from the CBI's Education and Skills Survey (please follow link below for a copy of this report).

The request for specific examples is very important in helping us develop a comprehensive and relevant Award. This survey should not take more than 10 minutes of your time.

If you would like any further information about this survey of the Employability Award please contact the cathedralenterpriseschool@gmail.com
