Commercial, T.V. and Motion Picture companies which are sanctioned by the Governor’s Office of Film and Entertainment will be allowed to film on Reserve property subject to the following restrictions:

Permits for Commercials, T.V. production / Motion Picture and all other media filming will be authorized by the Environmental Administrator.

Fees for Commercials, T.V. production / Motion Picture and all other media filming as listed on the Commercial Photography Permit will be charged.

The GTM NERR will be reimbursed for any expenses it incurs above normal coordination and monitoring of activities.

The Permittee will ensure that all of the Reserve’s resources and facilities remain in their pre-permit condition throughout the filming process. The Reserve will be reimbursed for the cost of any repairs it incurs resulting from damage to facilities or resources caused by the filming activities.

Reserve resources or facilities will not be altered in any way which would change established resource management schedules or practices, cause permanent damage, shorten the useful life or reduce the effectiveness or quality of such resources or facilities.

Adequate safeguards will be implemented to ensure that all animals or plants brought into the Reserve for filming are removed from the park at the conclusion of the permit period.

No walking on or across the dunes. Boardwalks should be utilized to access the beach.

No pruning, cutting or breaking of vegetation is permitted.

No digging, scraping, or other disturbances of the soil is permitted.

Park only in designated parking lots. Parking on the grass or side of the road is prohibited.

When filming requires the exclusion of reserve visitors from a Reserve use area, the filming time must be approved by the Environmental Administrator and the duration will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Security of the set of filming location will be the responsibility of the Permittee.
