Adult Mentoring 2019-2020 Application
WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR
YOUR STUDENT MENTEE - You will be paired with an CORE Student (Lipscomb Sophomore, Junior, or Senior) through the 2019-2020 school year. Your Core Student mentee will be paired with you based on common career paths, hobbies, and passions. If you wish to be paired with the same student as last year you can request that toward the end of of this application.

FREQUENCY & DURATION - You are asked to meet with your student mentee every two weeks for about an hour.

SPIRITUAL FOCUS - Though the mentoring relationship will be holistic, its primary intention is to help the student grow spiritually.

RESOURCES - To ensure you have a positive experience, The Joshua Project will provide guidelines, video training, resources and special events, simple curriculum, and coaching along the way.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY
CONTACT - The Joshua Project staff will contact you by email to check in and answer any questions you may have.

TRAINING - In early August, you will be sent an email with an online training video to prepare you for the experience.

MATCHED W/ MENTEE - The first week of class in late August, you will be sent an email with your mentee's contact info.

START MEETING - Once you have received your mentee's info, you start meeting with them regularly during the school year.
