There are paid opportunities for self-identified boys & young men of color (BYMOC) ages 12-24 years old who live, work, play or learn in Albuquerque to bike, cook and organize with T4B. And there are also other opportunities for bus riders and mothers of BYMOC.Summer with the Brothers (SWTB) includes online and COVID-safe outdoor programming for Bus Rider/Mother/Youth Leaders or participants. All options include $15.00 hourly stipend and participants can also request support including interpretation, technology or WiFi to connect to online circles. Programming includes four or eight week cohorts and circles in June and July.
Biking & Clean Transit Cohort & Circles include online circles on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm (June 7, 14, 21 and 28 or July 12, 19, 26 and August 2) and in person Saturdays (June 3, 10, 17 and 24 or July 8, 15, 22 and 29) from 12-2:30pm bike rides connected to learning about bike mechanics & safety, clean transit, environmental justice, outdoor access & equity and rules of the road.
Bus Rider Cohort & Circles include online circles on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm (June 7, 14, 21 and 28 or July 12, 19, 26 and August 2) and Saturdays (June 3, 10, 17 and 24 or July 8, 15, 22 and 29) from 10-11:30am to learn about clean transit, storytelling and transit equity.
Cooking & Food Business Cohort Circles include online circles on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm (June 7, 14, 21 and 28 or July 12, 19, 26 and August 2) and online and in person circles on Fridays (June 2, 9, 16 and 23 or July 7, 14, 21 and 28) to learn cooking skills, kitchen safety, decolonizing diet, food justice and food business planning.
Mother Cohorts & Circles include online circles on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm (June 7, 14, 21 and 28 or July 12, 19, 26 and August 2) and Thursdays (June 2, 9, 16 and 23 or July 8, 15, 22 and 29 or July 6, 13, 20 and 27) from 4-5:30pm to learn about environmental justice, leadership, storytelling and transit equity.

YOUTH ORGANIZERS
- 12-week stipend internship from 05/23-08/18 with circles on Tuesdays (5-7pm), Wednesdays (4-5:30pm) and other circles as determined by participation in Biking & Clean Transit or Cooking & Food Business project and cohort circles
- Compensated at $20.00/hour for up to up to ten (10) hours as Youth Organizers
- Other benefits include bicycle/helmet, laptop and ReFresh
- Previous experience as T4B Youth Leader or Organizer required
- Deadline to apply is Friday, May 19
- Required group interview on Friday, May 19 from 6:30-7:30pm
