L'ADAGP, société des auteurs dans les arts graphiques et plastiques, lance la seconde édition du prix - Révélation Livre d'Artiste - destiné  à soutenir et à promouvoir la création actuelle dans cette discipline artistique..

Doté de 5 000 € et d’un portrait filmé par Arte et diffusé sur le site d’Arte Créative, ce prix récompense un artiste émergent à l'occasion du vernissage de Multiple Art Days (MAD), rendez-vous annuel consacré aux pratiques éditoriales contemporaines. Placé sous la direction artistique de Sylvie Boulanger (Directrice du cneai=) et de Michael Woolworth (Directeur de l'Atelier Michael Woolworth), ce salon accueillera pour sa 3e édition plus de 90 éditeurs les 26, 27 & 28 mai 2017 à la maison rouge.  

Le jury de ce prix, coprésidé par les artistes Hervé Di Rosa et Elizabeth Garouste, réunira des personnalités du milieu de l’art contemporain (artistes, journalistes et critiques, représentants d’institutions).

La pré-sélection des 20 livres d'artiste sera réalisée par le comité scientifique de MAD composé de :

Sébastien Faucon, responsable des collections arts plastiques au CNAP ( Centre National des Arts Plastiques )

CRITÈRES DE SÉLECTION :
• Artiste émergent, en début de carrière
• Travaillant ou résidant en Europe/Suisse
• Parution en 2016/2017
• Tirage de 15 à 1 000 exemplaires (peut être signé et/ou numéroté)
• Hors revues, fanzines, tirages de tête d’un exemplaire courant

CALENDRIER
• Lancement de l'appel à candidature : lundi 20 février 2017
• Date limite de candidature : dimanche  14  mai 2017
• Réunion du comité scientifique de MAD : lundi 15 mai 2017
• Réunion du jury ADAGP et annonce du lauréat : vendredi 26 mai 2017

The ADAGP, the Society of Authors in the Graphic and Plastic Arts, is pleased to announce the second edition of the prize - Artist’s Book Talent Revelation - intended to support and promote contemporary creation in the discipline of artists’ books.

The prize-winner will receive an endowment from ADAGP of € 5,000 and have his or her portrait filmed by Arte and presented on the Art Creative website. The winner will be announced during the opening of Multiple Art Days (MAD), an annual event dedicated to contemporary publishing practices.
Under the artistic direction of Sylvie Boulanger (Director of the cneai =) and Michael Woolworth (Director of the Atelier Michael Woolworth), this event will welcome more than 90 publishers for its 3rd edition, on May 26, 27 and 28 at the maison rouge.
The jury, co-chaired by artists Hervé Di Rosa and Elizabeth Garouste, will bring together personalities from the contemporary art world (artists, journalists, art critics, museum curators…).

The pre-selection of 20 artist books will be made by MAD’s selection committee:`

• Edition of 15 to 1,000 copies (can be signed and / or numbered)
• Excluding magazines, fanzines or prints made for a current deluxe edition
