Job Descriptions:
PRESIDENT
Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council 2019
As Chief Executive of the organization, ensures adherence to its by-laws and mission by overseeing the Council’s activities; presiding over monthly meetings; creating subcommittees to fulfill goals; and acting as ambassador to other arts organizations, civic institutions, media and the Morongo Basin community. Voting member.

MBCAC COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Responsible for handling the Council’s public image by managing a robust network of communication channels with the media, general membership and other constituencies. Scope of the position comprises oversight of the Council websites and social media efforts. Voting member.

MBCAC DIRECTOR OF ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
With the assistance of a support team, directs Council membership’s art exhibit/sales
efforts at numerous retail, business and civic locations throughout the Basin. Voting member.

MBCAC OPEN STUDIOS ART TOURS DIRECTOR
Oversees and directs the entire efforts of the expansive annual OSAT program with the support of a self-created support team. Position includes responsibility for the program budget, development of a range of communications materials and advertising strategy in tandem with the Communications Director, and more. Voting member.

MBCAC MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR
Entails managing membership roster via an online platform, as well as developing strategies for building the Council’s member base. Additionally includes fulfilling functions of Art Tours Registrar. Voting member.

MBCAC WEBSITE MANAGER
Responsible for the evolution and oversight of the MBCAC as well as Gallery 62 websites—maintaining site integrity, content and health.

MBCAC NEWSLETTER EDITOR
Reporting to the Director of Communications, and with the support of various Directors providing content, prepares and publishes bi-monthly Council e-newsletter.
