Street Soccer USA Model
● Each Volunteer/Coach is assigned to a SSUSA City Program
● Volunteers/Coaches commit to volunteering for a minimum of one season.
● Volunteers/Coaches may serve as coaches, mentors, event support or other roles as assigned.
● Sessions take place at our partner sites; individual off-site activities are not permitted.
Application Prerequisites
● The applicant MUST be 16 years of age or older
● SSUSA encourages Volunteers/Coaches to make a one-year commitment with our organization, but a minimum of one-season (approx. 3 months) is required
● The applicant MUST complete a criminal background check conducted by Street Soccer USA
Application Process
● Submit an application
● Complete a short telephone or in-person interview with a SSUSA Program Manager
● Provide 2 references who will be contacted by SSUSA
● Submit to a background check (if volunteering with youth participants)
● Attend a Street Soccer USA Orientation

Background Screening
Street Soccer USA's volunteers work with children and adults. Therefore, we are required to screen our volunteers/coaches. Please respond to the following questions. Be aware that further screening and/or fingerprinting may be necessary depending on your program placement.

Street Soccer USA allows applicants to disclose a criminal record during the application process. Having a criminal history does not preclude an individual from Street Soccer USA; however, if it is not truthfully disclosed he/she will be considered ineligible to volunteer/coach.
