Welcome to the JCC Nursery School of State College! We look forward to welcoming your child to the JCC community for the 2026-2027 school year.
JCCNS is a small play-based, mixed-age, parent-run preschool. Our school year runs from late August to early June and follows the State College Area School District calendar. The school is also closed for select Jewish holidays. Children must be 2 years 7 months of age to attend the JCC.
We offer morning sessions Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and afternoon sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Children can enroll for any number and combination of sessions as space allows. We also offer a drop-in service for enrolled students as space allows.
Tuition is $115/month for each morning session your child is enrolled, and $65/month for each afternoon session your child is enrolled. There is a registration fee of $40 for current families and $75 for new families. There is no registration fee for Congregation Brit Shalom members.
If registering more than one child, please submit a separate registration form for each child.
Our Registrar will email you a registration confirmation that includes your monthly tuition total. If a session you have selected is full, the online registration will not immediately notify you. We will place your child on a waitlist for that session and our Registrar will notify you.
Your child's spot is not reserved until you have received a registration confirmation from
our Registrar and we have received your registration fee.
