We are collaborating with local schools and partners--including Elementary Institute of Science, Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, San Diego Diamond BID, Horton Elementary, Access Youth Academy, and Morse High School--to empower young leaders in revitalizing Chollas Creekside Park into a vibrant space for learning, gathering, and recreation.

This community event will have community resource booths, live music, family fun, and free coffee by Grinds & Grooves Coffee & Vinyl. There will be planting trees and watering native plants, removing invasive species & litter clean up, and rock painting.
Attire: Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and a hat to keep cool. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.
Bring: Bring water and any snacks needed.
Waiver: A waiver will be provided onsite, but please ensure that minors under 18 bring a HandsOn San Diego Minor Consent Waiver (click).
