Supporting Seniors During COVID-19
As we all navigate the uncertainty of this crisis, we've pressed pause on the State Senate campaigning for now. Instead, we have shifted all of our grassroots volunteer efforts towards ensuring that everyone in our communities here in District 13 has the support that they need to get through this crisis.
One thing we are doing is phone banking (from home) to reach out to our senior citizens, especially those who live alone, to make sure that they are okay, and ensure that they will have access to the resources that they need in the coming weeks, like food, insurance/healthcare access, pharmacy runs, and someone to call if they're lonely or need anything at all. Please fill out the form below if you'd like to get involved in helping us make calls to neighbors or run errands for those who need food, medications, or other essentials.
We're all worried about folks in need in our communities during the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you so much to all the amazing volunteers who are stepping up with grace and compassion to reach out and make sure that our neighbors have access to the support and resources they need. We are all in this together.
Please fill out the form below if you'd like to join our volunteer team or offer support.

I can't phonebank but I can offer support in other ways
Do you have resources you're able to offer to support vulnerable community members to get through this crisis?
I can run errands to the grocery store, food bank, pharmacy, etc. (Note: All support would be coordinated with local organizations and public health best practices.)
I can donate material goods
I can provide social support for isolated neighbors to combat loneliness (e.g. phone calls, Skype)
