Be a Community Ambassador for the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.!
Greetings! We're excited for you to get involved working with 826NYC and the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. as one of our Community Ambassadors! Ambassadors are a crucial part of the 826NYC community, filling in a a wide variety of different roles.
Overseeing the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co., you will interact with customers, showing them the Cape Tester and the De-Villainizer, while also sharing with them information about our products and helping them get checked out. You will also be an ambassador for the work we do at 826NYC, so that everyone who comes into our store leaves knowing what we do and why we do it.
You will also help out the 826NYC staff as needed with a variety of different clerical tasks. This may be helping us input data, shred old documents, get our field trip students through the door, or many other activities! We will make sure to keep you updated on what's happening at 826NYC so you'll have a good sense of the areas in which we may need help.
We have shifts available six days a week between 12:00pm and 6:00pm, so indicate your top choices for when you'd like to come in below and we'll find something that works for you!
We ask that volunteers commit to at least two shifts per month.

When are you available to volunteer in the store?
Please number up to the top five shifts you are available in order of preference. Weekend shifts are two hours long, rotating based on availability, and we ask volunteers to take at least two shifts per month.
