The National Business Education Association (NBEA) allows members to engage in meaningful work that advances business education. We are thrilled that you want to learn more about getting involved!

One of the key ways NBEA involves its members is through participation in committees and task forces. Descriptions of each committee and task force are available on our website to help you understand their purpose and focus.

Select up to two workgroups you are interested in joining. Please note that your selections reflect your interests but do not guarantee placement. However, NBEA leaders seek qualified individuals to contribute to the association's important initiatives. Committee or task force membership is guided by the organization’s Bylaws, Policies, and Procedures.

Curriculum Standards Committee and Topic Taskforces (Multi-year commitment; quarterly meetings + topic workgroups)

Section 3: Subject Matter Expertise fort Curriculum Standards Committee

The Curriculum Standards Committee as topic task forces that will examine current curriculum standards for their topic and suggest revisions to the current national standard. Involvement will span typically two years and consist of about 3 to 4 online meeting that can span 1 hour to 2 hours each.
