OVERVIEW
ART OF FATHERHOOD OVERVIEW: While there has been much discussion about the impact of ab-sent fathers on the lives of their sons, little has been addressed about absent father impact on daughters; approximately 15MM children live absent a father in the home. 63% of youth suicides are connected to fatherless homes; re-search indicates a 45% increase in suicide among women between years 1999 – 2014. Additionally, issues of promiscuity, poverty, drug and alcohol use, as well as, teen pregnancy are identified as high risk areas when fathers are ab-sent from a daughters life.

OBJECTIVE: 1) Increase importance of “healthy" father/daughter relationships. 2) Establish social interactive father/daughter bonding activity. 3) Present unique, nontraditional career opportunities for teen female population. 4)Provide diverse resources for personal, academic and professional achievement. 5) Victimization prevention awareness and readiness.

EXECUTION
Multicultural family event. 1) Outreach to fathers w/daughters ages 7–18. 2) Accomplished artists/instructors. 3) The Write Of Your L!fe essay contest focused on fatherhood impact. 4) Guest speakers (women in STEAM, performance art (ie singer, spoken word, ensemble monologue)), elected officials, community leaders. 5) Giveaways and Drawings.

LOCATION
Moreno Valley Regional Learning Center, 13730 Perris Boulevard, Moreno Valley, CA

ESTIMATED ATTENDANCE : 100-150

FOCUS: Importance of healthy father/daughter relationships

PROCEEDS: Women Wonder Writers, Capturing Hearts, Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center, Daughters Lives Matter

SUPPORT: Sponsors, exhibitors/vendors, presenters, volunteers

MEDIA: Press releases, e-blasts, schools social media, community bulletins, faith based announcements, fraternities, sororities, colleges and universities, parks and recreation, law enforcement, social services.

BENEFITS: The event offers you and your agency a valuable opportunity for one on one interaction with students, their parents and the community at large. We are marketing the exhibitor opportunities to local non-profits, governmental agencies, community based and faith based organization, who are in good standing, provide an ethical and reliable resource which would be beneficial to a youth and their family.

No Products will be sold on day of ART OF FATHERHOOD. Please complete the information below.

RULES & REGULATIONS:
Exhibitors must abide by rules and regulations of both the Riverside County Office of Education and Moreno Valley Regional Learning Center and ART OF FATHERHOOD. If you do not abide by the rules, are rude, disrespectful or not willing to be a team player, you may be asked to leave ART OF FATHERHOOD. Completing this Exhibitor or Special Guest, Presenter Registration Application does not guarantee you a space to Exhibit your product or services or be a presenter. Deadline for Presenters to complete Registration is September 14, 2019. Deadline for Booth / Table Exhibitors to complete Registration is September 28, 2019. All exhibitors and performers must RSVP for event at Eventbrite: https://artoffatherhood2019.eventbrite.com.

No children under the age of 15 allowed to participate in booth or table exhibit. No inappropriate exhibits, music, language or behavior allowed. By participating in ART OF FATHERHOOD you are aware that your image and that of your product, program, service, training, research and or person, employees, volunteers and team may be captured on film, video, DVD, used to promote, distribute or otherwise represent ART OF FATHERHOOD, Capturing Hearts, Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center, RCOE, Moreno Valley Regional Learning Center, Women Wonder Writers, Street Positive, Daughters Lives Matter, and/or our subsidiaries.
