Davenport Youth Council Application
The Davenport Youth Council is your chance to have your voice heard in our federal government. The Youth Council is a group of young Davenport residents who provide advice to Member of Parliament Julie Dzerowicz and share with her the issues that matter most to them. Julie will host the Youth Council meetings in her constituency office, engaging members in group discussions and sharing updates on the government’s progress. Members will be expected to come prepared each month with some thoughts on current events and will take turns leading group discussions. Meetings will be held on Saturday mornings every other month, beginning in February and ending in June.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain leadership skills, have your voice heard, and earn volunteer hours. If you are interested in making a difference in your community, please apply for the DYC!

The Davenport Youth Council is open to all Davenport residents aged 16-24. To apply, please fill out the application form no later than February 3, 2020. Applicants will be selected based on their interests and their experience in community affairs. All applicants will receive a reply by email in early February. If you have any questions, please email julie.dzerowicz.c1a@parl.gc.ca.
