2018 Fish Heritage Conference Housing Registration at CMUBS
Welcome to the 2018 Fish Heritage Conference at the CMU Biological Station (CMUBS) on Beaver Island. This form includes Housing Registration for CMUBS.

Housing Information:
A complete description of our housing can be found on the CMUBS website:
se.cmich.edu/cmubs or call John Gordon at (231) 448-2325, gordo2jj@cmich.edu

Note: Faculty Unit Housing (on the beach) is limited at CMUBS so we do not have the space to offer private housing in a faculty unit. Therefore, those accommodations will be shared with other attendees. Faculty units have separate bedrooms with shared bath. Cabins in the campground are 1 room (3 bunks) with shared bath, dorms (on the beach) are "barracks style" male and female wing, each with shared bath.

Travel Information:
Charlevoix is where both the Beaver Island Ferry and air transportation to Beaver Island depart from.
The three transportation providers from Charlevoix to Beaver Island are:
Beaver Island Boat Company: www.bibco.com, $33/person each way
Island Airways: www.islandairways.com, $52/person each way
Fresh Air Aviation: www.freshairaviation.net, $53/person one way

Arrival: We are planning on having attendees arrive on September 12th. There is an 11:30 am Ferry departure form Charlevoix. This will put you on the island around 1:30 pm where CMUBS staff will pick you up and bring you 5 miles south to the CMUBS main campus.

Departure: The conference will conclude the afternoon of the 13th, however the next Ferry departure is the 14th at 8:20 am. Therefore, if departing on the Ferry you can stay at CMUBS the night of the 13th also.

There is a space below to indicate you arrival and departure plans.
