We're now accepting applications for editorial interns! The internship will be remote and run for approximately 3 months with potential opportunities for limited extensions. Candidates should want to gain practical experience at a digital media outlet from planning to publishing, including but not limited to research, critical analysis, branding, writing, tone, and design.
Editorial interns will assist with the planning and production of articles for the offcultured website across all verticals with special attention paid to beats of interest.
Ideal candidates have:
- Strong writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- An interest in any or all of the following: Arts and creativity, pop culture and media, and lifestyle and culture topics
This is an unpaid internship. For college/university applicants, we will do our best to ensure interns can earn credit based on their college requirements.
Internship candidates must be 18 or older, based in the United States or Canada, have a flexible schedule, and be comfortable working remotely as well as meeting deadlines. Professional experience is not required for this internship; however, samples of your work will be requested on the application.
