The Hawaiʻi State Teachers Association Maui Chapter encourages all HSTA members to support colleagues struggling in the aftermath of wildfires that devastated the Lahaina community last August.

Please use this form to pledge your support for a Fire Relief Leave Bank and, should one be created, indicate your willingness to donate at least one leave day to this bank.

1. I support a temporary Fire Relief Leave Bank “into which any BU05 employees may donate sick leave for use by other unit members impacted by the fires,” and

2. I am willing to donate at least one sick day toward a shared Fire Relief Leave Bank for educators affected by the Maui wildfires, should the BOE and HIDOE create one.
