About Teacher Talk®
If you work in an early childhood setting, Teacher Talk® can provide you with core strategies to help you create rich and stimulating language-learning environments for the young children you work with (from birth to 5 years). The training is delivered by a Hanen-trained Speech & Language Therapist.
Training A ~ Encouraging Language Development in Early Childhood Settings
Play and daily routines provide opportunities to create enriched, interactive language-learning environments that include all children. This training will discuss how to foster language development through daily interactions.

Learn how to:
• identify the children’s conversational styles and the roles teachers play
• let the child lead in individual and group interactions
• help children become better conversational partners

Date: 19 January 2018 (Fri)
Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm (including 1-hour lunch)
Venue: S. A. Law & Co., Unit 607 Welland Building, 368 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
Cost: HK$1,000 per head (a corresponding workbook included)

Training B ~ Let Language Lead the Way to Literacy
As caregivers of young children, you have a very important role to play in laying the foundation for the development of reading and writing skills. This training will discuss the important links between oral language development and literacy.

Learn how to:
• help children develop positive attitudes towards the use of print
• make reading and writing a natural, meaningful part of the day
• use book reading as a time for interaction and conversation

*Prerequisite: Completion of Training A

Date: 20 January 2018 (Sat)
Time: 9:30am-4:30pm (including 1-hour lunch)
Venue: S. A. Law & Co., Unit 607 Welland Building, 368 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

About the Presenter
Sue Ann Law is a Speech & Language Therapist and has practiced in various paediatric speech and language therapy services for over 15 years. She has accrued valuable experience in assessing, planning and implementing individual and group intervention for children within the National Health Service in the United Kingdom, the Child Assessment Service, and private practice in Hong Kong. She also devotes her time to provide training to parents, educators and other health professionals.

Terms and Conditions
1. Payment methods: Please send Cheque , payable to “S. A. Law & Co.” to: Unit 607 Welland Building, 368 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong / Bank Transfer, Hang Seng Bank Account Number: 210-216396-883 (please email or whatsapp us the bank slip or payment record).
2. Places for the training are available on first come, first served, basis. Please check availability before making payment.
3. Registration is considered confirmed when full payment has been received. A confirmation will be emailed to you.
4. Cancellations are allowed up to 5 days before the start of a training session in which a refund will be given. Cancellations made by participants less than 5 days before the training starts or after the training has commenced are non-refundable or transferable at whatever circumstances.
5. Should the participant be unable to attend a class, no substitutes are allowed and advance notice is highly appreciated.
6. Absence in the training due to any circumstances is considered as “no show”, no refund or rescheduling will be arranged.
7. Video or audio recording during the training is prohibited.
