What's in a Name?
For our first issue of the school year, Eastside is writing a feature on the relationships that East students have with their own names.

Maybe your name represents a culture, a role model, or a value that's important to you. Maybe you've changed it from the one you were given, or you exclusively go by a nickname. Maybe it's so unique it makes teachers squint at the attendance sheet and squirm, or so common you've become known as "tall John" or "Lizzy with the glasses." Maybe it's worth 72 points in Scrabble.

Whatever the story behind your name is — a funny origin story, a family tradition, an impact on your identity — we want to hear it! Please fill out the form below to share it with us, and help us spread the word by sending this to your friends!
