Developing Historical Thinking Summer Seminar
Join us this summer as we get to the root of teaching history social-science. Over the course of 3-days, teacher swill engage with the 4-Instructional Shifts in the new History Social-Science Framework and the related process of historical investigation. Using disciplinary approaches/strategies (significance, perspective, evidence, analysis, and argumentative writing) to examine essential but challenging themes in history (race/ethnicity, gender, religion, and the FAIR Act). Open to all teachers Kindergarten through 12th grade, novice and experienced alike!

Cost: $350

Location: UC Davis campus

Date/Time: June 26-28 9am-4pm

Open to all teachers and all grade levels including lower elementary.
