Pennsylvania Science Olympiad has selected events and activities and put in place measures to enable students, coaches, parents and volunteers to participate while observing coronavirus (COVID-19) safety precautions as outlined by the CDC (link below*). Some tournaments will be virtual, however, failure to observe proper safety precautions in preparation, practice or competition can increase the risk of contracting coronavirus (COVID). By participating in Science Olympiad, I voluntarily assume all risks and hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Pennsylvania Science Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Inc., its auxiliary organizations, and the officers, directors, employees and agents of all of them from and against any blame and liability for any injury, harm, loss, inconvenience or any other damage of any kind connected to participation in Science Olympiad.

I agree to send out and collect the PASO Parent Acknowledgement for all my team members. I will hold all forms until June 2022 unless directed to submit them to a PASO official.

If my team is participating in any event in which there is device testing, I agree to abide by the Device Testing Policy found on www.pascioly.org for all tournaments approved by PASO for 2021 and 2022.

If my team is participating in any Satellite format tournaments, I agree to get the Satellite SO 2021-2022 form for PA teams (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdzEh4QvSydbyTKiHN7RIf8gr5EG6Ft1y-ZkRe3jPaiYZvkew/viewform) signed by an administrator for Public and Private Schools or by the head coach for home school teams.
