Innovation Fund - Information Session RSVP Form
The Innovation Fund invests in projects with high potential for societal and commercial impact to help bridge the gap between basic research funding and commercial investment. Faculty, students and staff affiliated with the University of Chicago, and the labs that we serve - Argonne, Fermilab, and the Marine Biology Lab, with promising technologies or start-ups can apply to the Innovation Fund's Fall 2016 cycle.
In past cycles, the Innovation Fund has awarded funds ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Innovation Fund investments may be used to support prototyping, pilot studies critical proof-of-concept work, initial customer deployments, and leveraging of other funding sources.
The deadline for the Fall Cohort is Wednesday, September 14, 2016. You may apply online at:
