Report a Potential Native Plant Rescue Site
Know of a development site that may contain native grassland, wildflowers, shrubs, or other native vegetation?

The Alberta Native Plant Rescue Foundation (ABNPR) welcomes reports of potential native plant rescue opportunities anywhere in Alberta. Reports from community members often help us identify sites before construction begins, allowing us to contact landowners and developers early to explore the possibility of rescuing native plants before they're lost to development.

Please provide as much information as you can. Location details are especially helpful. If you have photos, you can email them to tips@abnpr.org

Please note: Submitting this form does not guarantee that a rescue can take place. Native plant rescues require landowner permission, appropriate approvals, volunteer availability, and sufficient time before construction begins.

Thank you for helping identify potential native plant rescue opportunities before they're lost to development.
