APPLY HERE: Your first step is completing and submitting this application. We will respond as soon as we can to notify you of acceptance. Due to limited space, applications will be screened on a first-come basis to assess each candidate's potential and commitment to the training.
ACCEPTANCE & COSTS: Once you are accepted, you can start fundraising, make payment on the Veterans Campaign website, or apply for a scholarship from Veterans Campaign (information on page 4 of this application). The cost of attendance is $395, which will cover registration, tuition, breakfast and lunch meals, and program materials, including a copy of the Veterans Campaign guidebook for veteran candidates, The Candidate's Field Manual. Lodging and transportation are not included, but we will be happy to make recommendations to accepted participants, including the possibility of lodging with local participants/sponsors for those with limited budgets (on a first-come basis).
FRIDAY RECEPTION: An optional public reception event will be held on Friday, April 28, 5-7 PM at Civic Hall to kick off the workshop weekend, which will be free on a first-come basis. More information to follow on guests and speakers for this event, and how workshop participants and members of the public can register to attend.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: The final workshop schedule will be released the week before the workshop, but will take place starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 29 and ending at 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 30. Please note in the comments at the end of this application if you will not be able to participate in any portion of the workshop due to travel or other commitments.
