Office of Research Development Support Request Form

The Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center (Massey) Office of Research Development (ORD) supports Massey members in the development of cancer-focused manuscripts and grant proposals from conceptualization to the final submission. Team science and intra-programmatic, multi-PI projects are highly encouraged. The level of assistance provided by the ORD team during the development process varies based on the complexity of the project, the experience of the investigator(s), and the need for a team approach to develop the proposal.

Support is dependent upon ORD staff availability and priority status. Priority is given to team science grant proposals and proposals in direct alignment with Massey’s strategic plan and research program aims.

Please submit your ORD support request according to the following time frames:

Multi-Component/Multi-Institutional Grant Proposals (e.g., U54, U01, P01, P20)
- At least sixteen weeks prior to the deadline for team science and/or multi-component/institution submissions

Training Grants (e.g., K12, T32)

At least sixteen weeks prior to the deadline
At least twelve weeks prior to the deadline without Data Table support

Research Grant Proposals (e.g., R01, R21, F31, Supplement, Foundation)
- At least four weeks prior to the submission deadline without subcontracts
- At least six weeks prior if the submission requires subcontract(s)

Manuscripts
- At least four weeks prior to targeted submission date
