2026 Parent Enrichment Series: The Ladder of Language - From Receptive to Expressive

Join us for our Parent Enrichment Series on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 3:45 - 6 pm. During this interactive session, you will learn how children ages 0-6 develop their receptive and expressive skills by “climbing the ladder” of language.

You will learn how children travel up the steps of the development ladder learning to understand words, gaining the ability to use vocabulary, putting words together in sentences to communicate, reading, writing, and using grammar.

The session will also demonstrate how Montessori materials help your child with these skills and get ideas of how to support this learning at home! Our teachers will lead this presentation. This program is free and open to the community. Feel free to encourage friends and family to join as well. (This is an adults-only event.)

SPECIAL NOTE: All students will have an early dismissal at 3:30pm and child care will be provided during the session for families who are registered to attend ahead of time.
