An Adopt-A-Highway coordinator will reach out to you about your inquiry. If you are interested in joining the Adopt-A-Highway program, they will assist you in choosing a segment and completing the Agreement Form.
Before completing this form, please read through the following essential information about the program:
Adopt-A-Highway groups agree to:
- Adopt a two-mile portion of state highway for a minimum of two years.
- Pick up litter on that highway at least four times a year.
- Ensure that all volunteers watch our safety video and understand the safety requirements.
- Ensure all volunteers are ages 12 or above. For volunteers ages 12-17, a minor release form must be completed and there must be at least 2 adult volunteers for every 10 minors present at cleanups.
Our Program will:
- Supply gloves, trash bags, and safety vests available for pick-up at the O'ahu District Office in Mapunapuna.
- Erect a sign with your group's name.
- Remove the rubbish bags following your clean-up events.
