FINE PRINT: All nominees must be residents of Palatine or serve the Palatine Community -- Queen and King nominees must have some level of community involvement and leadership - so please explain what that is!
Members of the court can be nominated at-large; all nominees are subject to final decisions by the Durty St. Pat's Nomination Committee - and all decisions are final - because we're the bosses!
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Make sure if you nominate someone that they are willing to participate! Last year, several nominees didn't know they had been nominated, and didn't prefer to be involved....nominees shouldn't be shy because there are photo ops/public exposure to thousands of people who come out to see the parade!
ROYAL OBLIGATIONS: All members of the royal court must be available on Saturday, March 15th to be a part of the parade - each will be riding in Mustang convertibles. Lineup is no later than 1015am and the parade ends at approximately 1145am. All Durty St. Pat's Royals must go directly to Durty Nellie's after the parade for a group photo (completed @1230pm and introduced publicly as the Durty St. Pat's Royal Court on stage). There may be publicity in media publications, including (but not limited to) the Daily Herald, Journal & Topics and Patch.com. CROWNS WILL BE PROVIDED TO EACH DURTY ST. PAT'S ROYAL AND ROYAL ROBES TO THE QUEEN AND KING - THE 6 MEMBERS OF THE COURT MUST FURNISH THE REST OF THEIR ROYAL COSTUME!!!!
