Blind Date with CITY DOGS Sign-Up
Thank you for your interest in participating in a Blind Date with CITY DOGS! Our adoption counselors are eager to play matchmaker. Please complete the form below with information about yourself, your household, and what you are looking for in a new dog. When you arrive at the kennel for your meet, your adoption counselor will introduce you to a handful of dogs that we think would be a great fit for your lifestyle! While most of our dogs arrive at the kennel as strays and so we rarely know their backgrounds, our adoption counselors rely on notes from volunteers and staff from interactions with the dogs during walks, play groups, events, sleepovers and more to get to know the dog's personality and help make recommendations.

Our Blind Date promotion will take place on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16 from 10am to 3pm each day. You must make an appointment to reserve a blind date! Get started by completing the information below. We do ask that all household residents, including resident dogs, be present to meet the dog before the adoption is finalized.

You are, of course, in no way obligated to adopt a dog shown to you during a Blind Date. If you don't find the perfect fit (though our adoption counselors will try their hardest), you can always meet more or try again another time. We do ask that only people seriously considering adoption at this time sign up for a date :) If you end up adopting, the adoption fee is $61 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, county license, basic vaccinations and an optional free 30 day trial of pet insurance.

If you already know which dogs you would like to meet, you can simply email citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us or call 216-664-3476 to set up a meet and greet in the normal way.

Get ready to meet the new love of your life!
