Welcome to the second Infinite Chess tournament since the creation of infinitechess.org, and the first tournament played on the “Chess on an Infinite Plane” starting position! This tournament will be hosted on the Community Discord (https://discord.gg/Cv3tr4Njjv). All are welcome to sign up!
Quick summary of the tournament:
- Variant: Chess on an Infinite Plane
- Time Control: 10m + 6s/move
- Play 1 match per week, at any time. Matches are 2 games with swapped colors.
- There will be a round-robin group stage, then a single-elimination bracket with the top 2 from each group.

The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 4, 2025, by midnight UTC. The group stage will last for approximately 1 month, then the elimination stage will last for one more month, for those who qualify.
