@MLTSinHawaii is excited to work with School Retool to bring this opportunity to the state.
We are seeking innovative and creative school leaders who believe in access to Deeper Learning for ALL students, are willing and ready to try out a new, immersive learning experience, and are committed to fully participating in the work of the fellowship.
As a School Retool cohort member, you will engage in:- 4 full-day School Retool workshops at a central location on the following dates: - Friday, January 19, 2018 - Friday, February 9, 2018 - Friday, March 2, 2018 - Friday, March 23, 2018- 1 full-day to shadow a student in your school between January 19, 2018 and February 9, 2018- Approximately 1-4 hours per week of other School Retool activities, hacks, and coaching between workshops
Applicants chosen for the fellowship are invited to participate in the Schools of the Future conference on October 26-27, 2017 to engage in a small group dialogue with Ted Dintersmith and meet as a cohort. Check out the conference website for more details: https://sotfconf.org/
The full cost of this inaugural cohort is generously covered by a donor. @MLTSinHawaii and School Retool are working to secure subsidies for inter-island travel, but applicants should expect to cover travel costs at this time.
