UNITY Travel Scholarships available to Native youth in Foster Care
The National UNITY Council adopted a national initiative entitled "Opportunity for UNITY: Home is here" during the 2019 UNITY Midyear Conference. The initiative speaks to inclusiveness of all youth including those in the foster care system. The conference theme complements the initiative "You belong: Home is here."

To support this initiative, UNITY has partnered with Casey Family Programs to offer a limited number of travel scholarships and registration scholarships to tribal youth who are in foster care systems.

Tribal youth who apply for these scholarships must be accompanied by a chaperone.
Unfortunately, travel scholarships are not available for chaperones.
However, tribal youth who are awarded scholarships will also receive one registration scholarship for their chaperone.
Lodging and per diem are on your own.
All information submitted will be kept confidential. Selected recipients will not be publicized.
