The Book of Ephesians - Sundays: 9:25-10:15 a.m. - Fellowship Hall (Leader: Pastor Raasch) - When was the last time you really sunk your teeth into a book of the Bible (figuratively speaking, of course)? This study will allow you to do just that. Paul’s letter to the Christians in Ephesus features a beautiful description of God’s plan for his church, while offering practical advice for parents, spouses, and employees. Come and hear how God still speaks to his people today.
Cross Explorations for Adults - Sundays: 9:25-10:15 a.m. - Church Sanctuary (Leader: Pastor Wordell) - How do Old Testament Bible stories apply to our lives today? Where can parents go to dig a little deeper into Bible stories their children are learning each week? How can parents strengthen the connection between Christ and the next generation? The answer to all of these questions is found in “Cross Explorations for Adults.” Join Pastor Wordell, as he leads an adult level discussion of the same Bible stories your children are learning. (Non-parents are also welcome!)
The Foundations of Our Faith - Thursdays: 6:30-7:30 p.m. - 8th Grade Room (Leader: Pastor Schreiner) - Do you ever feel like it’s time to get back to the basics of the Bible? Do you feel unequipped to answer even the fundamental questions people ask about your faith? Are you interested in learning more about what the Bible teaches, and what our church believes? Interested in becoming a member of Mount Olive? If any of these questions describe you, then our Foundations Bible Study is for you! This relaxed, conversational study will meet for 7 weeks on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings with the same session being taught on both of those days to give people the flexibility to attend whichever session best fits their schedule.

The Book of Revelation - Wednesdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m. - Fellowship Hall (Leader: Pastor Scherbarth) - Imagine reading the Revelation and understanding what you read, and being able to explain it to others! Equipped with what God reveals in this book, you will understand what is happening in our world and be equipped to live each day with hope and confidence! Beginning on January 9, Pastor David Scherbarth will step in to lead a study of the Book of Revelation for our Wednesday morning Bible Class. Join us for some delicious food for your soul and body!
Breakfast Bible Study - Tuesdays: 6:30-7:30 a.m. - Mary's on North Richmond (Leader: Pastor Raasch) - This early bird special offers a bite of the Bread of Life along with your cup of coffee or stack of pancakes. Join us at Mary’s Restaurant as we discuss how God’s timeless truth still impacts our everyday lives.
A New Study for Women - Saturdays Once a Month (Starting January, 12th): 8:30-9:30 a.m. - Copper Rock on Edgewood Drive (Leader: Kathy Kolell) - How does a Christian define “success” in life? How does a woman maintain her balance in various vocational arenas—family, professional, community, and congregational? On Saturday, January 12th, Kathy Kolell will lead a discussion of the book The Calling: Live a Life of Significance. To reserve your seat at the table, please contact Kathy at kkolell@fvlhs.org.
Men's Bible Study - Fridays: 6:30-7:30 a.m. - Teen Room (Leader: Paul Kolell) - Where does a man go to grow in his role as a Christian husband, father, and man of God? Where can he be intellectually challenged, spiritually fed, genuinely encouraged, and yet still receive a bit of good natured ribbing? The answer: Mount Olive’s Men’s Bible Study. Before you do anything else on Friday, stop in to recharge your batteries with your brothers in Christ.
