Register your interest to sell within the Creative Strathaven Shop.

Creative Strathaven is for makers and creative people alike and the aim of the shop is to give small independent businesses and makers the opportunity to showcase their work to a new market  and to get their work out there. The shop will be supporting both local and Scottish makers. All products sold in the shop must be made, designed or up cycled in Scotland.

The shop is at 6a Common Green - we're right in the middle of Strathaven's town centre. Lots of people pass by and there are many shops and cafes nearby along with The Tudor Coffee House and Taylor's Bakery - it's a busy place to be. We have a lovely window which means any passers by can do a bit of window shopping before coming in for a nosey.

The shop is open six days a week but will open on a Sunday for special events. Opening times are:

- 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday

The shop is staffed by Creative Strathaven Director, Mhairi Anderson (who is employed by the organisation), and currently employs three part-time employees.

We are looking for a mix of high quality products, from furniture and housewares to arts and crafts and everything in between.

We want to ensure that there is a wide variety of products for sale so have a selection process in place. We will be in touch should a suitable space for your products become available.

We are working on a Commission Based Sale or Return basis with a commission rate of 40%. The income from commission covers all credit card fees, rent and other overheads. All Makers will have a 3 month trial period where we will work out what the bestsellers, etc are.

As part of the contract, Makers will have a responsibility to promote that their products are at Creative Strathaven. Whilst we appreciate that Makers know their products well, due to the size of space, Creative Strathaven will have a level of discretion regarding what products we stock. However, we are very much open to discussion and collaboration to make the most of the space, and the full collections of the Makers.

We will make payment of your products sold to you via bank transfer by the 10th of every month. Commission will be taken off all sales payments and will be detailed in each Maker's monthly sales report.

Only online applications will be processed, please do not bring stock into the shop to apply for space.

We do not accept applications for football related products.
