25th Anniversary Youth Bus Tour - Interest Form

If you're a Hare Krishna youth or young adult between the ages of 18 - 29, interested to come on the 25th Anniversary Youth Bus Tour across the USA and Canada with us this summer, June 25 - August 16, 2020, please fill out the below Interest Form. The organizers will pre-screen all interest form submissions. If it looks like you may be a good fit for the tour, we'll get back to you with an application form.

Brief tour outline: The tour will start and end in Alachua, Florida. We'll participate in the following Ratha-yatra festivals: Boston, Washington DC, Toronto, Calgary, Los Angeles. We may visit the following cities & temples: New Goloka NC, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Potomac, DC, Gita Nagari, New Vrindaban, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Winnipeg, Regina, Saranagati, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, San Diego, Moab, Dallas, Houston, New Talavan MS, Key West. We will likely visit the following National Parks and scenic attractions: Banff NP in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Mount Rainier (volcano) NP, Crater Lake NP, Yosemite NP, Sequoia NP (giant Sequoia trees), Zion NP, Grand Canyon NP, Carlsbad Caverns NP, Everglades NP.

We'll go on Harinamas and present Krishna Culture Festivals (a theater production with Bhakti Marg Swami, classically trained dancers, kirtana, prasada, book tables) at college auditoriums and Ratha-yatra festivals. We'll visit the majority of temples across the USA and Canada and engage in hands-on "dhama seva" at many of them. We'll develop tight friendships and grow a family with around 40 youth from around the world, traveling for 7 weeks on a tour bus together. We'll go on many adventures, hiking, camping, swimming in rivers, lakes and beaches... and visit National Parks such as those mentioned above. The tour will cost $1750 per person ($250 per week), $1500 early-bird discount for the 7-week tour if deposit is paid before May 1).

You'll be expected to live the lifestyle of a Bhakti Yogi, abiding by the four regulative principles of no illicit sex (including no flirtatious behavior), no intoxication of any kind, no meat eating, and no gambling.
