We love and appreciate our volunteers. The work they do is invaluable to our vision. We always need dedicated and passionate people to support the mission of empowering survivors. Do you have a few hours a month? Do you have a few days a month to volunteer? Do you want to become a regular part of the ECLI-VIBES family? We have the perfect volunteer opportunities for you!

At ECLI-VIBES, safety and transparency are incredibly important to us and the populations that we serve. Please note there will be a required background check depending on what level of volunteer you become.

Here are the tiers of volunteers:

Level 1: Occasional or one-time volunteer - This level of volunteering may involve short-term projects or events that do not require regular involvement or contact with vulnerable populations. This level typically does not require a background check.

Level 2: Ongoing volunteer - This level of volunteering involves regular or ongoing involvement with the organization and/or vulnerable populations. This level may require a background check, depending on the policies of the organization.

Level 3: Leadership or supervisory volunteer - This level of volunteering involves leadership or supervisory responsibilities within the organization and may involve working closely with vulnerable populations. This level almost always requires a background check.

We are seeking volunteers for community education and outreach, the Community Food Pantry, our Rape Crisis Counselor program, the community fundraising committee, Human Trafficking Survivor Advisory Board, Intimate Partner Violence Survivor Advisory Board, and Reception/Hopeline.

RCC, or Rape Crisis Counselors, volunteers are a very important part of ECLI-VIBES. They provide essential crisis intervention and emotional support to survivors of violence (rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking and elder abuse). By providing support at the hospital emergency room, volunteers deliver the vital first stage of assistance the survivor needs to begin their recovery from the trauma they have experienced. RCCs also represent a network of persons raising awareness and working towards positive changes in the attitudes our society has towards survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. They create a climate of sensitivity for these survivors while they receive hospital services.
