Fall 2019 South Asian Bar Association Mentorship Program (Mentor)
The SABA Mentorship Program (“Program”) will pair members of the South Asian Bar Association Northern California (“SABA” or “SABA NC”) with South Asian law students at local law schools. Local law schools include Golden Gate University, UC Berkeley, UC Hastings, Santa Clara University, Stanford, and University of San Francisco.

The Program aims to assign each mentee two attorney mentors, subject to availability. One attorney mentor will provide more direct and immediate guidance, and an additional senior attorney mentor will provide long-term career guidance and access to their broader professional network. Mentors and mentees will be matched by practice areas to the extent possible, but matching practice areas is not guaranteed.

This sign-up form is for Fall 2019. SABA will issue a broader call for mentors and mentees each Fall and each Spring. The Program will span 6 months, beginning at the time the mentors and mentees are assigned.

After the initial call for sign-ups, additional sign-ups for mentors and mentees will be accepted on a rolling basis upon contacting the SABA Law School Relations and Mentorship Chair, Ashish Bhatt <aakbhatt@gmail.com>.
