We know that many Washingtonians are concerned about climate change and want to help, but don’t know where to start. That’s why the cities of Bellevue, Issaquah, Mercer Island and Redmond have teamed up together to launch the 2023 Eastside Climate Challenge.
Whether you only have an hour or two a month to commit to climate action, or are ready to lead a team of neighbors or friends in taking actions together, the Eastside Climate Challenge is a great way for everyone to make a difference and discover new ways to take climate action and build strong, connected communities.
The 2023 Eastside Climate Challenge provides opportunities to:
- Discover simple, affordable actions to save money, energy and water, and reduce waste through monthly topics between February and June.
Connect with other Eastside residents concerned about climate change and committed to a climate-friendly future for our communities
Attend community discussions, webinars and events to engage with other participants and experts in the field.
Earn prizes to support your sustainable lifestyle by participating and completing actions.
To kick off the Challenge, we're hosting webinars to highlight the impact you can make and different ways to get involved. Let us know if you can attend one of our upcoming meetings!
After completing this form, a Community Organizer will reach out to you with more information.
