The Tallahassee Farmers Promotion Program was designed to assist the greater Big Bend area in the development of local food microenterprises among disadvantaged populations, improve networking among farmers, food producers and food retailers, and establish commercial processing facilities, all of which will contribute to a diversification of the local economy in both product and proprietor.
