Career Champion Award Nominations
This award recognizes faculty or staff members at the Fall Convocation who have championed student career development and career readiness by encouraging, fostering, and promoting professional development and career opportunities for students.

The Career Champion Award will be presented to one faculty or staff member (outside of Career Services) per year who receives a nomination for their outstanding efforts in guiding students in professional development, networking, and career opportunities. These efforts may include, but are not limited to:

• Company Classroom Visits
• Attending Career Fairs
• Career Services Student Development Events (Mock Interview Day, Resume Café, Mocktails, etc.)
• Connecting Company Contacts to Career Services Offices
• Partnering with Career Services on classroom presentations or assignments
• Employer/Company Tour
• Promotion of professional development of students
• Entwining career development activities and Career Services events with academic curriculum
