Applications must be accompanied by at least three slides or photos (two (2) close-ups of your work and one (1) of your display) if you are selling items, if you are a non-profit or charity, please let us know a little about your organization. All items must be LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly. Intersectionality is real.

All applications are subject to approval.
The fee for a 10 x 10 single space with electricity is $100 and a 10 x 20 double space is $200. The fee for non-profit and charity organizations is $75 for a 10 x 10 single space and $150 for a 10 x 20 double space. All fees are due by June 20th, 2022. to make other arrangements, your space may be given away to another vendor.
No refunds will be issued unless event is cancelled by the Alaska State Fair Grounds.
While the committee makes every effort to ensure space assignments, space assignments cannot be guaranteed. Preference will be given to vendors selling locally made items. The Underground Pride Committee reserves the right to modify space assignments as necessary.
Spaces for food vendors will be made accessible for set-up from 7:30am - 8:30am. Spaces for non-food vendors will be accessible at 9 am on Saturday, July 9th. All vehicles are to be clear of the festival grounds by 11:30 am. All booths are expected to be open and ready for festival goers by 12 pm (noon) and are required to be open until 8 pm. Failure to be open may result in rejection of future applications.
Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs, displays, and trash. Do not leave behind any garbage or refuse at your booth.
Vendors are encouraged to have hand sanitizer available for customers and themselves at their booths, to wear masks, and to practice social distancing when possible. The Alaska State Fairgrounds requests minimizing the handling of merchandise when possible.
There are designated parking spots for all vendors. The vendor parking lot will accommodate all vendors as well as food concession vendors. No vehicles or trailers will be permitted to park or drive anywhere within the festival area during festival hours, there will be no exceptions.
Eligible applicants who did not receive a space assignment will be put on a waiting list. Available spaces will only be filled from this list.
Be aware that the City of Palmer will be walking around asking vendors for copies of business licenses. You are required to have a physical copy on hand or they will shut down your booth and potentially fine you. The Queen's Guard is not responsible for any fines you receive from the city for a lack of licensing.
Vendors are required to provide their own insurance for the event. By completing the vendor application form, the vendor is agreeing to hold harmless the Queen's Guard for any debt, tax, assessments, salary, and/or expense incurred by the vendor. Further, the Queen's Guard shall not be liable for the result of any accident or damage to any person or article employed by or in possession of the vendor while at Underground Pride, whether such accident, loss or damage occurs during the time of set up, take down, or during the event itself. The vendor agrees to hold harmless the Queen's Guard from any and all claims for damages, demands, or suits, arising from injuries or damages that may result from the activities and business of the vendor in connection with this contract.
Underground Pride is an LGBTQ+ positive event hosted by the Queen's Guard. We believe in the inclusion and recognition of the importance of empowering our BIPOC friends, family, allies and communities. A such, any vendor displaying anti-LGBTQ+, racists, or pro-colonizer sentiments will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit any and all fees associated with Underground Pride.
Underground Pride is about remembering the spirit of Pride, celebrating how far we have come, recognizing how far we still have to go, and remembering that we are family.
1. Vendors are responsible for keeping the area around their booth clean and free of hazards.
2. No incendiary materials or devices allowed.
3. This is a smoke free event. There will be no smoking allowed within the festival area. Designated
smoking areas will be available outside the event in the purple parking lot.
4. There are no 'roving' vendors authorized.
5. Do not speak negatively or put down other vendors or events, especially not to customers.
6. All vendors must supply the QG AK State, Matsu Borough & Palmer business licenses by May 15th. Copies
of business licenses will be kept at your booth in a visible place.
1. All vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting Palmer sales tax, currently 3%. It is the vendors responsibility to confirm the sales tax amount at the time of the event.
2. All vendors are required to have a business license for the state of Alaska, the Matanuska Susitna Borough, and the city of Palmer, either a yearly or special event license.
3. All vendors are required to follow fire department guidelines and codes expected for vending at an event.
