2020 Athletic Hall of Fame will be held Thursday, October 22nd from 6-9 pm in the SFS main gym.

The St. Francis de Sales High School Hall of Fame inducts a new class every two years. Started in 1990, these awards celebrate dedication and service, athletic excellence, and community involvement, all in the name of St. Francis de Sales and our Alma Mater.

Athlete/Coach:
St. Francis de Sales Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees are chosen from the names of former athletes and coaches nominated by faculty, coaches, alumni, and friends of St. Francis and selected by a committee appointed by the St. Francis Athletic Department. The athletes or coaches must have achieved success in or made a significant impact on St. Francis athletics; must serve as a role model of the standards that the school wishes to impart to current students; have been out of high school for 10 years, or retired from coaching; and except in the case of a posthumous induction, able to attend the banquet.

Team of Distinction:
The St. Francis de Sales Athletic Team of Distinction is awarded to an entire team for a specific season who achieved great success, established a standard of excellence for their specific program, and/or left a positive impact on the school community. This team must be at least 10 years removed from their accomplishments in order to be inducted into the St. Francis Athletic Hall of Fame.

Golden Knight Award:
The St. Francis de Sales Golden Knight is awarded annually to an alumnus who has realized success in his career or who, by reason of his involvement and service, has made a significant impact on the community at large. This graduate must have graduated no less than 10 years ago and should serve as a model of the standards the school wishes to impart to current students. The person or group does not necessarily have to have had an impact on St. Francis Athletics.

Service Award:
The St. Francis de Sales Service Award is presented to an associate of St. Francis de Sales School who, through his or her generosity, involvement, and service, has made a significant impact on the school. The person or group does not necessarily have to have had an impact on St. Francis Athletics.
