Cards for Bravery is a UK based registered charity dedicated to brightening the days of hospitalised and seriously ill children and their families across the UK. We provide a range of services however our core work is distributing positive handmade cards to unwell children and young people. We work with a number of hospitals across the UK, however to reach as many children as we can we also distribute cards to children and young people who are unwell but being cared for at home (or within a hospital/hospice setting and you are wanting to individually nominate them). You can also nominate siblings of an unwell child to receive a card as well.

If you would like to nominate a specific child/young person for a card please follow the below:
- Nominees must either be currently hospitalised/within a care facility or living with a long-term health condition, or a sibling of someone who is hospitalised or living with a long-term health condition
- The maximum nomination age is 25
- Our applications are currently only open to those within the UK. Any applications with a postal address outside of the UK will not be acknowledged.
- Bravery Cards are completely free to all recipients

You can withdraw consent or an application anytime by contacting contact@cardsforbravery.com. Cards for Bravery is the controller and responsible for personal data of you and the child/young person. This information will not be shared with any third-party organisations unless permission is gained beforehand.
